About
I founded HRUnbound LLC in 2012 to offer something different: human resources consulting and executive coaching that’s grounded in experience, driven by curiosity, and delivered with heart. Based in the Chicago area, I work with clients across the country—and occasionally around the globe—helping organizations build stronger cultures and more capable leaders.
Over the past 30+ years, I’ve held senior HR roles in companies ranging from Berkshire Hathaway subsidiaries to Leo Burnett, USF Corporation, Anixter International, and World’s Finest Chocolate. I’ve seen HR from every angle—strategy, operations, talent, culture—and I bring that perspective to every engagement.
In addition to consulting and coaching, I teach at the Quinlan School of Business, at Loyola University Chicago, where I earned both my BA in History and MS in Industrial Relations. I’m also certified in the LEA 360 Suite, which I use to support leadership development and coaching.
